Olivia and Jonathan met at a 4th of July party in 2020

(the best year for meeting new people in person).

They talked, laughed, and sang the night away. Similar interests, senses of humor, karaoke song choices, all of it. Eventually, fireworks, COVID looming, and the smell of BBQ all blurred as their conversations became the focus.

Life rarely gives us moments without questions. We ask ourselves, “What if I chose the wrong career path?”, “Did I pick the right school?”, “Should I have gotten fries with my burger?” But, every now and then there’s a special moment where uncertainty fades. That night, both Olivia and Jonathan left that party absolutely certain.

Terrifying. And absolutely wonderful all at once.

The cherry on top? Neither of them did anything about it for a month. But then, one random late-night talk led to a week. A week turned into months. And months turned into 5 wonderful years.
